| A. You might expect a large
company such as tiscali
to have a means to escalate telephone calls made to their staff, when that
staff member cant or wont answer the member of public! but they don't.
On numerous occasions, upon phoning tiscali, I asked to speak to a supervisor as I reached deadlock with the inability or unwillingness of the more junior tiscali staff member to answer my questions. However on every request to speak to a tiscali supervisor, it was denied. Presumably the more senior tiscali staff have no concept of customer care and wish to keep themselves removed from their customer's dissatisfaction. If I hear from tiscali to the contrary of that, I'll post here. However i think that this is unlikely as tiscali have closed the account without warning, and having dealt with them I will never be sending any of my business their way. To make matters worse tiscali 's Niamh McAndrew wrote to the elderly and recently bereaved widow with words such as "I would like to offer my condolences...", "I understand this is a stressful time for you..." , "I will be responsible for assisting you with your issue until it is confirmed resolved.", "Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused as a result of the issues you are experiencing" - yet on the date of that letter the account had been closed and the phone cut off! |
